SOMAH can help every step of the way to make the process of going solar easier for you and your tenants.
Find a Contractor
Find eligible contractors in your area by using the Online Bidding Tool to generate a list of local and highly qualified contractors.
You'll be able to:
- Conduct thorough research on each contractor and read reviews to help narrow your list to a minimum of three options.
- Use the Select Bid button next to the contractors' names that you want to bid on your project.
- Submit your bid request and provide a few more details about your property and solar project.
- Receive bids from your selected list of contractors — and choose the one that works best for you.
Participating property owners are required to engage and educate tenants about their SOMAH project and provide SOMAH-approved information on energy efficiency, time-of-use rates, bill interpretation, solar training opportunities and additional resources and support.
The tenant education toolkit includes materials to help property owners meet this requirement and maximize benefits for their tenants. Download the Tenant Education Toolkit for more ideas.
The SOMAH Tenant Education Services project helps host customers reach their tenant education requirements. If your project has received Proof of Project Milestone approval, apply now for this free service using the Tenant Services Intake Form.
