SOMAH’s Workforce Development team is hosting a free, virtual interview workshop for job trainees, job seekers, and those interested in solar careers on Wednesday, March 10, 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The workshop will guide participants how to prepare for an in-person or online job interview, methods for preparing answers that will impress employers, and how to follow up with the employer after an interview. Participants will also get the chance to practice interviewing and receive individualized feedback with SOMAH volunteer coaches through a one-on-one mock interview session after the presentation. 

This is a free, public event for job trainees, new solar job seekers, and those looking to make a career change in the solar industry. To prepare, participants can view recordings of SOMAH’s past career development events including a Solar Career Pathways presentation and a Resume Writing Workshop.

• Interview Tips Presentation: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
• Mock Interview Session: 11:00 a.m-12:30 p.m.

(An alternate mock interview session will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 1:00-2:30 p.m.)
